SCG Logistics Management Company Limited or SCG Logistics was awarded the prestigious Deming Prize 2013 on November 13, 2014 at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo, Japan.
The award came at a special time for SCG as the group celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. SCG Logistics is the 9th company in the group to have received this award and the first service company outside of Japan to be awarded the Deming Prize.
Deming Prize award inspires company-wide development
The Deming Prize is one of the driving forces behind SCG Logistics’ constant efforts to improve the quality of its services and achieve customer satisfaction, by encouraging company-wide involvement from all employees who are striving toward the same common goal.
